As both a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) and Skate Canada Coach based in Calgary, she empowers athletes to develop the mindset and habits that fuel peak performance and lasting joy in sport.

MEET SOPHIA O'BRIEN DOERKSEN

Sophia is an NCCP Regional Trained Coach working with the Calalta Figure Skating Club in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She focuses on building strong foundations while instilling a love for the sport in the athletes she coaches. Sophia works with competitive and recreational youth skaters, Special Olympic skaters, and adult skaters in freeskate, skills, and ice-dance disciplines.

Sophia also enjoys creating programs for her skaters and is available to choreograph and cut music upon request. As an athlete, Sophia worked with Olympic coaches including Jeff Langdon, Scott Davis, Charlene Wong, Anabelle Langlois, and Cody Hay.
